Who we are

Visions for Nigeria Foundation is a volunteer Non Governmental Organization. Our mission statement is to make Nigeria a kinder, gentler nation. In Nigeria, we have over two hundred and fifty tribes and languages spread within the thirty six states and the Federal Capital Territory. We only have one thing in common….Nigeria; not the tribes, cultures, religions, languages, states or even politics, that are often used to divide us. We should strive to use our differences to build a kinder, gentler Nigeria. We believe we can achieve this through our volunteers, having seminars and raising awareness for Nigerians to respect and love one another in the spirit of brotherliness that was common place in the Nigeria of old.
To make Nigeria a kinder, gentler nation where people are better empowered to care for one another for the advancement and development of the common good.
Our volunteers seek to make Nigeria a kinder, gentler nation by re-branding her people through volunteerism.
“Nigeria shall be great again” was at the heart of our concept when Visions for Nigeria Foundation was birthed in August 2001 in far away Istanbul, Turkey as “Visions Nigeria”. It Registered and Commenced Operations in Nigeria in July 2004.
